The Early Streamer Emission Lightning Conductor Including Teletesting supervision

This third generation of the Duval Messien "Satelit" range uses this technology to force the lighting strike to follow a predetermined path towards the earthing system. The Satelit 3 concept consists of polarising the lightning conductor tip with a voltage of between 35 kV and 45kV, synchronised with the progress of the descending tracer, and of triggering an anticipated start for the ascending tracer.

Aerial Elevation Rods, also known as Franklin rods or conventional lightning rods are installed on the highest point of the structure to be protected from direct lightning strikes.

These provide a zone of protection emanating from the installed height of the tip. To achieve optimum protection, the number of these rods to be installed should be as per the relevant IS/IEC standards.

The Aerial Rods should be connected to earth by the smallest possible direct path. HEX offers them in various models of single point & multiple points.

Multiple Point is used with Elevation rod.

Material: Copper Alloy / Enamelled Porcelain

The Enamelled Porcelain insulator breaks the path of lightning strikes which are safely grounded by the down conductor which is connected above it.

The zone protection provided by this aerial rod is as per the relevant IS/IEC standards.
